SipMarked is a wine journal app for iPhone and Android, also available on the web at sipmarked.app. You photograph a bottle’s label, the app reads it and fills in the details, and you add a rating, tasting notes, and a short journal entry. Every wine is saved to a private collection you can search later, so you can remember what you liked.
Make it quick enough to do at the table. With SipMarked you take one photo of the label. The app identifies the wine’s name, type, variety, vintage, and country for you to check, and you add a star rating and a note about where you were and who you were with. Later you can search by name, filter by wine type or rating, use voice search, or on paid plans ask in your own words.

Casual Enthusiast is $3.99 a month or $45 a year and raises each limit to 36 with no ads. Serious Hobbyist is $5.99 a month or $65 a year with unlimited wines, Wish List, and notes.
Yes. Vines are private, invite-only groups of up to 30 people where members share individual wines, react, and comment. You can share a new wine to a Vine as you save it, or any time later. You can also send a single wine to anyone by link or QR code, and they can save it to their own Wish List. Your journal is private by default, and nothing is shared unless you choose to share that wine.
Yes. Tasting Corner is written by SipMarked’s in-house sommelier, Luke McCorry DipWSET, who holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma, has 15 years of experience in wine, and works as a wine educator and guide. It includes weekly wine recommendations, answers to common wine questions, tasting notes, and video lessons. Members on paid plans can send in their own questions. Meet Luke McCorry.
SipMarked is a personal wine journal, not a public review site. There are no public profiles and no crowd scores. It is built to help you remember the wines you enjoyed and the moments around them, with guidance from a qualified sommelier.
The place you tried it, the date, a journal entry about the occasion with a journal photo, and taste and occasion tags. Paid plans add more journal photos per wine, a home cellar with bottle counts, and region and vineyard details. There is also a Wish List for wines you want to try and freeform notes for anything else.
SipMarked is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play. There is also a web app at sipmarked.app that works in any modern browser.
